Dr Ubesie graduated from the University of Nigeria. He is currently a Senior Lecturer/ Honorary Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics. His clinical and research interests have focused on paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, nutrition and infectious diseases. He is a Fellow of the Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPaed) and the West African College of Physicians (FWACP). He was a Visiting Research Scholar at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center/University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA between 2012 and 2013. He is an examiner of Part-I and II candidates in the Faculty of Paediatrics of the NPMCN. He is happily married.
