Dr Amaka Nnamani is a medical practitioner with 14 years of practice; a board certified radiologist, a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons. Currently, she is a Consultant Radiologist and lecturer with the Department of Radiation Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, Nigeria.

Amaka, attended medical school and completed her radiology residency training at University of Nigeria. Her research interests are in the fields of cancer and women imaging. She has expertise in breast cancer biopsies of breast. She is a passionate cancer advocate, dedicated to reducing late detection of Cancer in our society and has participated in many community-based cancer screening projects and cancer control workshops in South-East with Breast Without Spot, Non-governmental, not-for-profit organization based in Enugu. She is a Marie-Stopes certified cryotherapist for treatment of premalignant cervical cancer lesion and a member of Clinical Trial Consortium.
