Dr. Ben Edelu obtained MBBS degree from University of Benin in 1999. He obtained the

Paediatrics Fellowship of the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPaed) in 2009.

He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics and an Honorary Consultant to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku/Ozalla, Enugu. His primary assignment is at the Emergency Paediatrics Unit. He is involved in training, medical consultations and research in areas of emergency paediatrics, malaria, thermometry, respiratory medicine and other areas of paediatrics.

He is happily married with four children.
