Dr. C.J. Okwor was born on the 6^th of November to the family of Onyishi and Mrs Fidelis Ezema. Her primary and secondary education were both in Enugu State, Nigeria. She obtained BSc (Biochemistry) in 2002 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria and MBBS in 2010 from University of Nigeria. Her medical internship was at the University College Hospital Ibadan from 2010-2012.  She also obtained MSc (Biochemistry) from the University of Ibadan in 2014. Her residency training was in the department of Chemical Pathology, University College Hospital Ibadan from 2013-2018. Following successful completion of the residency program, she was employed as Lecturer I in the department of Chemical Pathology, University of Nigeria, Ituku-Ozalla Campus, Enugu, Nigeria where she is currently working. She is a diligent person who seeks self-development, advancement and improvement.
