Biography:
Obstetrician/Gynaecologist with special interest in feto-maternal medicine. He holdsa Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and a Master’s degree in Public Health from University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds a Master’s degreein Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasonography from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He also has interest in teaching Obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasonography, clinical research and statistics. He is a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG), the British Society of Gynaecological Imaging (BSGI), Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Nigeria (SOGON) as well as the Association of Feto-Maternal Medicine Specialists of Nigeria (AFEMSON).He hasbeeninvolved in the training of medical manpower at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for over seventeen years in Nigeria. He has also worked as specialist Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at Consultant level for over eleven years and has been actively involved in teaching and research in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology during the same period. He has attended and presented papers in many national and international conferences and has over 60 scientific publications in national, regional and international peer-reviewed journals.
