·      Dr. Michael Iroezindu obtained his MBBS degree from UNN in 2003.

·      He obtained Fellowships of both West African College of Physicians (Internal Medicine) and National Postgraduate Medical College (Infectious Diseases/Immunology) in 2011.

·      He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa.

·      He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Physician/Infectious Diseases Specialist at the Department of Medicine.

·      He was formerly, Associate Director, Institute of Molecular Medicine and Infectious Diseases, UNN.

·      He has vast research expertise in HIV Medicine, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Sepsis, Pneumonia and Malaria with over 50 journal publications/book-chapter.
