Dr Nkechinyere J Uche completed her medical education from the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus followed by post graduate training in Ophthalmology from the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu. She obtained the fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and the National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCOpth) in 2010. She completed both an ICO fellowship (2014) and a 15month clinical fellowship in Glaucoma (2018) with additional training in phacoemulsification fromLV Prasad Eye Institute India. She has presented papers at both national and international conferences. She is a senior lecturer,consultant ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist.
