Dr Nwafia, Ifeyinwa Nkeiruka is currently a Lecturer 1 in Department of Medical Microbiology,  College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. She is also a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. She did her residency training in University Of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Ituku- Ozalla and also holds a Masters Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (Microbiology)  from University of Nigeria Nsukka. She hails from Uruogbo Village Enugu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government, Anambra State. Presently Dr Nwafia, I.N is engaged in series of researches and publications. She has done and presented many papers both locally and internationally. Her area of interest is virology and infection prevention and control.
