Elvis Neba Shu is a Professor of Pharmacology. After graduating from the University Centre for Health Sciences, University of Yaounde, Cameroon as a Laboratory Scientist, he pursued and obtained a postgraduate diploma and Master’s degree in Pharmacological Biochemistry, and an M.Sc/Ph.D in Pharmacology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria. He also holds a certificate in Bioethics.

Professor Shu is highly skilled in tropical disease research with special interests in clinical trials, and environmental/molecular toxicology. He has been the principal/co-investigator in many funded research projects. He has published prodigiously in peer reviewed, impact-factored journals, and he is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Medicine and Health Development.
