Abridged biography

Professor Anthony Nnaemeka Ikefuna is current Head of Department.

An Honorary Consultant Paediatric Haematology/Oncologist with University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital(UNTH), Ituku/Ozalla, he is a medical graduate of University of Ibadan, Fellow, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria(NPMCN) and Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh.

He published over one hundred scientific articles, authored chapters in textbooks of Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery, successfully supervised fifty four Fellowship Dissertations,

A former Principal Research Fellow, Institute of Childhealth, UNTH, former Secretary, Faculty of Paediatrics NPMCN and current Chief Examiner in Faculty.

External examiner to some Medical Colleges in Nigeria, he is married with children.
