Professor Boniface Ikenna Eze graduated from the University of Nigeria Medical School in 1989 and did his ophthalmology residency training at UNTH, 1995-2000, qualifying as fellow of both National and West African Postgraduate Medical Colleges.  He joined the services of University of Nigeria Enugu Campus in 2004 and rose to the rank of full Professor in 2015. He underwent two Vitreoretina sub-specialty fellowship trainings. To date, he has 44 scholarly contributions to generalisable knowledge and sits on the Peer Review Board of 13, and Editorial Board of 11, major medical journals. Presently, he is Professor and Chair of Vitreoretina sub-specialty.
